Our retail packing house is open to the public from October through March; our hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon (Pacific Time). During this time, we also have a large assortment of fresh citrus grown on the ranch. If you need more information, please call us at (760) 397-4309.
Packing house directions
From Los Angeles: Take the I-10 Freeway east/southeast to the desert. About a half-hour after you pass Palm Springs, exit the I-10 Freeway at Dillon Road and turn right (southwest) on Dillon. Turn left (south) on to Highway 86. Stay on Highway 86 through Coachella; you want to take "Highway 86.", not "Highway 86 South". Go about 7 miles, then make a hard-left turn on Polk. Go about a quarter-mile north on Polk; turn left by the Brown Date Garden packing house sign.
From within the desert, starting at Washington and Highway 111: Go east (toward Indio) on Highway 111. Turn right on Jefferson. Turn left on Avenue 50. Turn right on Jackson and go toward the mountains; the road will veer around the base of the mountain, and becomes Avenue 66. Turn right at Highway 86 (by Valerie Jean's Date Shop); you want to take "Highway 86.", not "Highway 86 South". Drive about two miles to the ranch, which is at Polk and Avenue 70; make a hard-left turn on Polk. Go about a quarter-mile north on Polk; turn left by the Brown Date Garden packing house sign.
